What is Job Development?

It’s a service we can offer for job seekers who need more help in connecting with employment.

A Job Developer is responsible for:

  • Liaising with employers to obtain job leads
  • Identify jobs that suit the client
  • Assist with the hiring process

A Job Developer can help with everything from resume development to attending an interview with the job seeker. Job Development includes working closely with Case Managers to ensure the service reflects client’s needs, abilities and employment goals.

As well, the Job Developer will coach, support and monitor clients in the initial stages of employment and maintain relations with employers.
